At present, we have an excellent opportunity in our Power & Signal Group for an Account Manager in Atlanta, GA territory.

Power & Signal Group is the worldwide resource for connection systems products, sensors and related components. As a strategic distributor for Delphi for over 20 years; Arrow supplies a complete line of high performance connection and wiring system components to the transportation market.

This key player will increase sales and design opportunities by understanding the customer technical needs, design process, procedures, and managing these issues within the customer structure. The account manager will work independently, referring only exceptional problems for management review or approval. He/She will also be responsible for identifying and developing growth opportunities in current customer base with new products and technology. Responsibilities also include qualifying new industries/customers for potential application of current Power & Signal Group components. He/She will also manage relationships with key customers, a division workload and support from all other PSG and Supplier sources. The Account Manager will also manage timing and introduction of any and all new products customer systems, and ensure PSG and its suppliers can support. The Account Manager will also assist customers with understanding of its suppliers products technology by coordinating presentations and will also attend its suppliers' training in efforts to stay abreast of component technology, as well as completion. Travel will be approx. 50%. The candidate will work from a home office in the Atlanta, GA area.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent.

Two to Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Engineering experience in Automotive/Transportation industry preferred, including a mechanical aptitude.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Uphold confidentiality.

Must obtain and stay current with industry specific certifications.

Possesses proficient PC skills with Microsoft Office, database and communications software.

Must be able to demonstrate sensitivity to customers, Delphi-Packard Electronics employees and PSG employees.

Must be a dynamic salesperson with excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, goal orientation and strategic thinking ability is desired.

Experience selling to or servicing one farm and agricultural OEMs a plus.

Knowledge of the electronic component and or connection systems industry a plus.
