Plastronics was founded over 25
years ago for the exclusive purpose of designing, manufacturing and
marketing high-quality burn-in sockets. Through advanced product
design, state-of-the-art molding and automated production,
Plastronics continues to break the barrier for innovative,
cost-effective solutions. Plastronics produces a wide range of
products including MLF, PLCC, LCC, SO sockets. Our latest products
include the open-top BGA for 1.5mm to .8mm pitch and surface mount
LGA sockets.
Plastronics designs and produces all injection molding tools
in-house. This flexibility allows for quick changeovers for custom
tooling and assurance that all products go through in-house
inspection processes. Coupled with a fully automated assembly
process for all major product lines, typically deliveries for
standard products are 2-3 weeks.
Plastronics, the original inventor of the open-top surface-mount
device socket and the open-top ball grid array socket, designs all
new products in-house. Plastronics is continually exploring new
contact methods to meet the higher frequency devices packaged in
tighter pitch configurations. To
