Shin-Etsu Polymer offers
a full range of solder-less Interconnects for connecting several types
of components: "normal" Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD),
Chip-on-glass-LCD's, Chip-on-foil-LCD's, microphones, speakers,
antenna's or vibrators to PCB's or FPC's, and IC camera modules.
Shin-Etsu connectors are also suitable for stacking PCB's and MEMS.
Shin-Etsu’s range of connectors include:
Elastomeric Interconnects for LCD's based on
carbon particles as conductive material.
Heat-seal Interconnects for LCD's based on carbon or silver conductive
lines on PET-film with anisotropic adhesives for connections from foil
to PCB and foil to LCD.
Elastomeric Interconnects for low resistance connections based on
metal particles or filaments as conductive materials.
All Interconnects are based on custom-designs and can include
additional moldings to combine the connection function with additional
functions like holder frames, light-guides or gaskets. Shin-Etsu
