A connector assembly system from Wes-Tech’s Connector Division can be as simple as a stand-alone insertion module. Or, a wide array of standard modules can be combined for a completely integrated connector system, from feeding individual components to inspection and marking, to packaging of assembled connectors.

The standard insertion module represents state-of-the-art technology in connector terminal insertion. The EBS-3000 insertion module can insert up to 12 contacts at a time, at rates greater than 300 rpm (3,600 contacts per minute).

Connector products may also require assembly of polarizing and guide pins, shields, spacers, gaskets and shorting bars. Wes-Tech has developed high-speed, standardized solutions, which incorporate feeding systems, robotics, and pick and place stations to provide flexible, efficient, and high-production assembly systems.
